Thrush that comes back. One more cystitis. BV you thought was over. Pain nobody explains. VivaLaVulva is a record for what keeps coming back: ten seconds to note, and the series of your episodes becomes a dated file, in your own words, that you can show. The app is in French.
What keeps coming back, and what nobody keeps
Every episode is treated as the first one. An examination, a prescription, and next time everything starts from zero. Nobody holds the series: not a file, not a system, often not even your own memory. That is not your failing. Nobody in the room has all the information, and these episodes do recur. The series is what is missing, and it is what the app keeps.

Why we are building it
By women, for women. The record women keep of their own bodies is too often outranked by a test, a strip or an assumption. The science on these conditions is incomplete, and health records count what is coded, not what women live. Whether keeping a record like this improves care has not been studied; we think it should be. We need women who live this to test the app and tell us what is wrong with it.
Testing the app
You need an iPhone on iOS 18 or later, to be 18 or over, and to read French. Leave your first name and email: we send the steps right away, then your TestFlight invitation as soon as a spot is ready.
Questions
+Does the app tell me what I have?
No, never. It keeps what you record and shows it back as it is. Guessing a condition from symptoms is wrong often, for everyone, clinicians included. The record is there to be shown, not to guess.
+Why does it not look for the cause of my infections?
Because a calculation run on your own record would name a culprit, and the culprit would be you. Women with recurrent infections already run that search on themselves. The record keeps the dates and the circumstances you note; connecting them is a conversation with a clinician, not an algorithm's verdict.
+Is it available in English?
Not yet. The app is written in French, with French women, and English comes later.
This page informs, it does not treat. It replaces neither an examination nor a consultation. VivaLaVulva is not a medical device: the app does not diagnose and never tells you what you have.
